How to become LIC agent

Step 1 Registration: Register on this website under contact/register section by providing your name, contact number and location
Step 2: Online or Offline Training: Once you are through with the registration process, you will have to go for Online or Offline Training for 25 hours. Upon completion of the training, you will be awarded with a training certificate. The training covers all the aspects of Life Insurance Business.
Step 3: IRDA Examination: You have to clear a Pre-Licensing Online exam conducted by IRDA. All the questions will be of objective type.
Step 4: Appointment letter: Upon passing the exam, you will be given appointment letter to work as insurance agent.

Documents Required:

  • 2 passport size photo.
  • photo copy of cancelled cheque/copy of bank pass book.
  • Photo copy of 10th or highest degree marksheet.
  • Photo copy of Address proof.
  • Photo copy of Pan card.

    • Fees

  • Rs. 150 for registration.
  • Rs.250 for online training fees.
  • Rs.500 for IRDA online exam.

    • Eligibility

    Age: Minimum 18 Years
    Education: 10th Pass
